About the Quality Index

The Quality Index is created from government agency run public sources. It is a composite measure of three components of hospital value: quality of service; affordability and efficiency of service; and patient satisfaction with service.

How Does It Work?

When you find out that you require a medical procedure, contact ACM’s Medical Concierge and provide basic information about yourself and your procedure. Medical Concierge will research and report to you information regarding the cost and quality of area providers specific to the service you need.

Medical Concierge will provide the following:

  1. Quality ratings of local facilities
  2. Local provider pricing information for your requested procedure
  3. Make sure the facilities and physicians are in your PPO network to maximize your benefits
  4. Educational material concerning your required procedure
  5. If requested, assistance with the scheduling of appointments
  6. Coordination with ACM’s Precertification and Disease Management teams
